Here is another episode of my blog to discuss a crucial subject that is
part of our daily lives. A matter we might entirely not aware of...
Before we dive deeper, let us pledge

Toh Phir Chaliye ,Shuru Karte Hai!!!
Quoting a great man that once said:
"Control your thoughts before they control you!!!"
But, you might wonder that great man has gone mad. Its a myth, how one
can control thoughts, after all, they are part of our subconscious mind
rather than the conscious mind. Remember, in the first blog, the same
great man said: "thoughts supported with beliefs lead to action...".
Justifying the above statement, positive thoughts definitely comes from
wisdom, but views that are negative that lead to overthinking, self-doubts
might be the one that comes from behaviors affected by surroundings or
negative people or lack of efforts and knowledge. Well, this is something
guided by our practices or actions that we have in a loop that is causing
damage to our brain. There has to be a reason for what we do, and that
reason may be explained scientifically.
Bigger the universe the more complicated are humans, if god made humans
that simple than humans might have been ruled by machines and robots might
have taken the control over human race because considering the evolution,
"technology is evolving more rapidly than we humans "...hahaha.... yes I do
support Elon musk in this ...who said- "machines are smarter than human"
...the reason being human can possess the intelligence through DNA of
ancestors and some variation which is copy-pasted combined with the same
variation process carried forward to other generations to come, but that
also turns out to be only one fixed outcome given that person in that
generation, but in case of machines it is not the same, a computer can be
trained with a lot of other minds and might also with some smartest and
brilliant minds of the century which results in a superset of intelligence
combined.
So, Now coming again back to the reason that leads to thoughts that make us
feel stuck or gives wrong information to the subconscious mind that gets
programmed with incorrect instructions and hence results in illegal actions
is the
"Science of Hormones."

There are a lot of Hormones that human body secrets the particular ones we
are gonna talk about is related to cognitive function and mood. The ones
that are called "Happy Hormones."
Now, in simple language, let us understand what hormones actually are
hormones...it is a kind of catalyst that helps cells, tissues, and muscles
in our body to grow. They are released directly into the bloodstream from
endocrine glands and later catch by masses through receptors well, let's not
get into more details that can get boring. So, Directly jumping into main
questions: What are happy hormones? And
How do they affect our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and change thought
process ???????

What are Happy Hormones?
These hormones are associated with a person's mood and cognitive functions
(thoughts, feelings, emotions, and perceptions)in the body. Happy hormones are listed as follows:
- Dopamine
- Serotonin
- Oxytocin
- Endorphin
Dopamine
Dopamine is released during pleasurable situations such as sex,
masturbation, consuming adult videos on the internet, even watching
youtube, Netflix, prime for any web series-related content. Does
that make dopamine a bad hormone...the answer is No... what is wrong
is the way it is released. The above situations listed have dopamine
released in high quantity, and whenever this release happens, the
brains get addicted to these ways. It craves for more and more which
is actually a wrong programming instruction sent to our subconscious
mind...so, does that mean people should have stopped having sex,
well there are other benefits also related to sex but what one
should know is an addiction to anything like that(above listed
activities) is always wrong. Well, then are their anyways where dopamine is a blessing,...yes there are many. Well, the human
body is programmed to the secretion of many hormones, and each has its own
benefits. The benefits of dopamine are... it can process your subconscious
mind to do a set of productive actions repetitively, it can motivate you
to achieve goals and give pleasure in making them...well how to do it?.
So, there always has been a reward mechanism which has been practiced by
many so far in which you set the goal which you want to accomplish and
breakdown that goal into small milestone and reward yourself (like
ice-cream, talk to an old friend you always wanted to, purchase that
tickets of the show you wanted to go, visit the place you always had on
your list...here all rewards listed is budgeted if you have a high budget
then go higher ...but only avoid above-listed activities mentioned earlier
in the beginning because agree or not...dude it ain't helping ...that can
be a disaster ...what one should take care in this strategy is...get
addicted to the process and not the reward... means getting pleasure in
the accomplishment of a task rather than the urge to get a bonus in that
sense you will be able to develop discipline and train your subconscious
mind for a more difficult task,well people who are addicted to rewards end
up achieving goal but not mastering the process they still lack
discipline. This is something I have experienced this in my life
as,I programmed my subconscious mind to be goal-oriented that's why when
it came to accomplishing harder task I always resisted the goal,or made a
excuse as,simple task were easy for achieving the rewards...and you
end up in comfort zone which we will talk more about in my next episode
,one thing you should remember is that reward mechanism keeps fading with
time(excluding exceptions) in simple words it doesn't prove to be
beneficial for people with bigger age...as learning curiosity decreases
with age and understanding capacity increases because of intellect and
person gets to rely more towards experience than learning,well if
someone thinks what about Bill Gates ,Warren Buffet,Albert
Einstein,Stephen Hawking and many more who made many discoveries in
their later stages of life ,well this is only because geniuses
are not made they are born...this guys are remarkable scientist in
their own renowned fields and no doubt trained themselves from very early
ages . As Said, you are always a product of your own actions and
beliefs.
Also, Lack of Dopamine results in Lack of Enthusiasm, self-doubt, and
settle for less.
This is a great mind hack and has helped me a lot over the years. If
you are a parent reading this strategy might be useful for your
child...

Now, talking about the next one...
Serotonin
It is released when one feels significant or important. Absence of
serotonin results in depression, loneliness, anxiety, aggression,
impulsive and anti-social behavior. It is the hormone which helps people
to be social and urge them to live in groups or community. One more
reason for the release of serotonin is ...for the brain to differentiate
what is imagined and what is real...so lack of serotonin also causes
sometimes schizophrenia, psychosis where one gets disconnected with
reality and starts living in their imaginary world...This is severe
mental issues that one should be aware of as it disrupts an individual
at the core and decays once the connection with the community and the
world. To get the dose of Serotonin ...reflect upon your past
achievements or the happy memories it really helps to boost serotonin
levels. Another hack is to get lunch or coffee with your friends and
expose yourself in the sun for twenty minutes ...your skin absorbs UV
rays which promotes serotonin and vitamin-D.
Now, the third one...
Oxytocin
Oxytocin is a "cuddle hormone" it is the hormone responsible for
intimacy, trust, and strengthening relationships. It is released by
mothers during childbirth and breastfeeding, man and woman during
orgasm...a real one and not the fake one.😉
Oxytocin is a glue that binds relationships. Hack for oxytocin is a
firm handshake or a hug, you can also give a gift to someone to boost
their level of Oxytocin for you.
Coming to the last one...
Endorphins
Endorphins are released in response to pain and stress like during an
intense workout or exercises, or a breakup 😢...just kidding not this
stress but muscle stress. It is a natural drug released in the body
similar to morphine which helps to release pain. Along with exercise,
laughter, or expectation of laughter is a great hack for the release of
endorphins.Another great hack is dark chocolates, spicy foods and the
smell of vanilla and lavender can help increase in endorphins
secretion.
Well, This is the Hormones that can help in better cognitive
functionality of the brain and can control our moods and help us to be
more productive...
So, Lets Hack This!!!
These hormones have a crucial role in our day to day life, an excess of
one or deficiency or imbalance of these hormones can cause a lot of
mental troubles that can lead to disturbance in one's normal life by
disrupting one belief, emotions, and thought process. Also, some studies
have shown this hormonal imbalance has resulted in superhumans. As we
know our bodies' tissues and cells are completely replaced in 7 years
with new ones which result in irregular hormone secretion in some cases
and this thing leads to change in cognitive functioning and programming
of the subconscious mind. One most important things I have felt near
around me is most people are afraid or tired of researching about
themselves for the problem which means self-exploration and rather
complaint about the world...what one should remember is that there is no
guilt in admitting if one suffers from mental traumas in their life ...A
good friend and a talented psychologist I have known over the
years have beautifully explained about mental health...
"If you have a physical fracture in your bone you immediately go to
a physical therapist, then why not visit a mental therapist when you
suffer from thought fracture ."
Well, there is one more hormone to talk about that I have left on purpose
and it is adrenaline which we gonna talk about in the next blog with the
comfort zone and what causes it...
